Henry Tatum Joins Levenson & Brinker PR

Henry Tatum, former assistant editor of The Dallas Morning News editorial page, has joined Levenson & Brinker Public Relations and been appointed Vice President and Director of Community Relations for the Dallas-headquartered firm.

In his new role, Tatum will work on a number of major accounts at Levenson & Brinker, including the Dallas Center for the Performing Arts Foundation and Fossil Rim Wildlife Center in Glen Rose, Texas.

Tatum Retired from The Dallas Morning News in August following a journalism career that spanned more than 35 years. He had been an editorial writer and weekly columnist for the newspaper since 1983. During his career, Tatum received the top editorial writing award in Texas from the Associated Press Managing Editors, the Renaissance Award from Neiman Marcus for his commentary on downtown revitalization, and was a finalist for a Pulitzer Prize in 1993.

He has served on the Dallas Business Committee for the Arts, the board of directors of Hope Cottage and the North Texas Future Fund Advisory Committee.
