ZALES GORDON’S HOLIDAY WISH CELEBRATION

Aruba, Jamaica ... Dallas?
The Beach Boys (with Mike Love, above) will perform live in Dallas on Dec. 11 at City Hall Plaza.
The plaza doesn't exactly conjure up thoughts of surf and sand. Even the nearby reflecting pool will be covered.
The free hourlong concert is part of the Zales Jewelers and Gordon's Jewelers Dallas Holiday Wish Celebration.
The group's show, which begins at 3:20 p.m., will be followed by the lighting of Dallas' own 80-foot holiday tree.
